An Overview
- Chosen Generation for Jesus Christ (CGJC) is a non-profit 501 © (3) non-denominational Christian organization that was established in 2020 by a group of Christians.
- CGJC is aimed to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ, educate, and empower women and girls about the powerful task God gave them in the Bible as helpmates to men (Genesis 2:18).
- CGJC subscribes to the popular saying: “Behind every great man there stands a woman”. We believe this emphasizes that a man’s success often depends on the work and support of a woman.
- To achieve our goals, we will collaborate with Churches and communities in the United States and Africa to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, educating and empowering women and girls who are yet to subscribe to the Biblical task.
- Chosen Generation for Jesus Christ as a Christian nonprofit is working with people with disabilities, Children, and other vulnerable groups in project communities to help them improve their livelihoods and empower them to lead their own advocacy.
Our History
Mrs. Francelia Davis
Founder
Our founder Mrs. Francelia Davis was born and raised in Liberia in West Africa where she saw the challenges faced by disadvantaged people, the vulnerable, and above all, women who aren’t supportive of their husbands. Our founder witnessed children born with disabilities forsaken by families and grown-up disadvantaged people denied education and training opportunities something that is rooted in their suffering and hardship. As a disciple of Jesus Christ; Mrs. Davis got motivated by Proverb 31:8-9, which inspires Christians to Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves. Given her desire to effect a change in her country Liberia, the idea to found a Christian nonprofit was born when she migrated to the United States.
